Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a brilliant team from East Suffolk Council to our roastery for a hands-on team building day.
After discovering Combat2Coffee at one of the council’s Wellbeing Events last year, the group of seven joined us for a day immersed in the world of coffee.
Their journey began with a behind-the-scenes tour of our roastery, seeing first-hand how our coffee is roasted.
They then took part in a taste test challenge, learning how to identify different coffee qualities, aromas, and flavour profiles – a true sensory experience.
Finally, they stepped up to the machine to try their hand at crafting the perfect cappuccino and latte under the guidance of our expert team.
Karen Last, Electoral Services Manager at East Suffolk Council, shared:
In a relaxed and fun environment, the team had a really enjoyable day learning how to make the perfect cappuccinos and latte, with a bonus guest appearance from Combat2Coffee Patron Terry Butcher.
We had a great time with the Combat2Coffee team who shared their passion and heart with us through just doing what they do.
Our CEO and Founder, Nigel shared:
It was fantastic to welcome the East Suffolk Council team to our roastery.
Seeing people come together, learn something new and leave with smiles on their faces is what it’s all about for us.
We’re proud to create experiences that not only build teams but also raise awareness of our mission to support veterans through coffee.
