Our team of Brand Ambassadors continues to grow, and we are delighted to welcome Chris Crooks as the newest ambassador for Combat2Coffee.
Chris is the founder of Optimus Coffee and Vending Services, an independent consultancy that supports corporate clients in finding refreshment solutions for their teams. What began as a consultancy has since evolved into a comprehensive office coffee service provider, delivering machines, beans, servicing, and ongoing support to businesses across the UK.
Driven by his passion for coffee and backed by extensive business experience, Chris will help us share the Combat2Coffee message with even more people.
Chris was first introduced to Combat2Coffee in 2021 through his son-in-law, who worked with Suffolk Constabulary. At the time, Optimus was bidding for a major corporate contract and was seeking a coffee bean provider that could offer clients exceptional and meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility benefits.
Chris said:
The opening conversations with Nigel caused me to warm to him as a refreshing change in the coffee industry and a catalyst for change in the care of veterans.
Having spent time with the Combat2Coffee team from its early days, it quickly became clear to Chris that the organisation was destined to play an integral role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the Armed Forces Community.
Chris shared:
Supporting the Armed Forces Community is a cause very close to my heart, having seen the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder on my grandfather and other family members and friends who served.
Chris believes Combat2Coffee stands apart not only by raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing, but by actively engaging with those affected—creating community, connection, and conversations that can become a vital turning point in a veteran’s life.
As a Brand Ambassador, Chris is committed to supporting Combat2Coffee’s mission to change lives one sip at a time.
