Volunteer for us
We are proud to be a volunteer-led organisation, where the number of volunteers outweighs the number of employees. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who play a vital role in helping us reach more people and expand our services. These volunteers assist with a range of tasks, including:
- Running events
- Roasting coffee
- Maintenance and upkeep
- Deliveries
- Administrative support
- Day-to-day operations
We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that volunteering has on both individuals and communities. Not only does it offer a sense of purpose, but it also helps volunteers develop new skills, build confidence, and form connections with others who share similar experiences.
We were proud to be awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service for 2025. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.

Fundraise for us
Fundraising is a rewarding way to contribute to our cause. Whether you’re hosting an event, organising a challenge, or simply asking friends and family to donate, every pound raised will directly support our efforts to help individuals in need.
Every pound of fundraising will help us to show people how their lives could be different by providing them with immediate, practical help and signposting them to services they may need, such as mental health support, physical wellbeing, jobs, training or housing.
